Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use compitservice.com or connect an account to CompIT Social Manager, the app Comp IT Service (COMPITSERVICE LLC, Brunswick, Ohio) uses to manage clients’ Instagram and Facebook business accounts. By using the site or the app, you agree to these terms.

Our services are for businesses. The work we do for you is described in your proposal, agreement or invoice. If that document and these terms differ, that document applies.

Using our website

  • The information on this site is general. It is not advice for your specific situation until we have reviewed it with you.
  • Do not attack or overload the site, try to get into areas you are not authorized to use, collect its content with automated tools, or use the contact form to send spam.
  • The site’s text, design and logo belong to Comp IT Service. You may not copy them without our written permission.

Connecting an Instagram or Facebook account

  • Connect an account only if you own it or are authorized to act for the business that owns it.
  • When you connect an account, you allow us to use Meta’s official tools to work on it only for the services you asked for, such as publishing content you approved, answering comments and messages, and preparing reports.
  • You can remove the app’s access at any time. Our data deletion instructions explain how, and how to ask us to delete the data the app stores.
  • Meta’s own terms and policies also apply to your account. CompIT Social Manager is not made, endorsed or sponsored by Meta.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content, logos and information you give us or that appear on your accounts. You allow us to use them only to provide our services to you. You confirm that you have the right to use any content you ask us to publish.

Services from other companies

Our work relies on services run by other companies, such as Meta, Google and Microsoft. Their terms apply to your use of them. We are not responsible when they change features, limit access, have outages or make decisions about your account.

No promised results

We work carefully, but the site, the app and our services are provided “as is”. We do not promise specific results such as search rankings, followers, reach or leads, and we make no warranties beyond those in your written agreement with us.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, Comp IT Service is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data or lost business. Our total liability for any claim about the site, the app or our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service involved in the three months before the claim.

Ending access

We may suspend or end your access to the app if you break these terms, if Meta requires it, or when our work for you ends. You can stop using the site or the app at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Medina County, Ohio.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version.
